Traveling to Brisbane, Australia, the capital of Queensland, was such a blast. We spent time in several parts of the city including Newport, Redcliffe, Hamilton, and Mitchelton, where we visited the top-notch barber shop Aldo’s Barbershop in Brookside. Sheridan “Chieef” is a master barber and he gave me a great shave. We talked about sports, Australian culture, and the growth of the barber industry.
In this episode of World Barber Shop Adventures, I do what all Aussies do, I got ink and watched rugby. Micky Lang, from Electric Expressions, gave me a traditional Australian tattoo on my upper forearm. Then it was off to an AFL match between the Brisbane Lions and the West Coast Eagles. The Lions really gave them the business with the final score of 102-58. The love for rugby is unmatched in Australia. It was a fun and energetic crowd.
