Miami, Florida has it all! From world-class beaches, diverse culture, lavish hotels, and trendy nightclubs to being the home of one of the most exotic and amazing attractions of nature in the US; the Everglades. It comes with a cost but Miami, Florida is definitely a location to visit when deciding on future trips.
Nikki Beach-Miami
This is the ultimate beach club. It is an outdoor beach club, chalk full of beautiful people, tiki bars, lounge chairs, and cabanas. Everywhere you look there are bronzed, beautiful women and bronzed, fit men lounging amongst each other sipping on a cocktail or simply oiling up their picture-perfect bodies. You can enjoy VIP food and bottle service while soaking up some rays. In addition to the beach club, there is a club where the party gets started well into the early daytime hours with fresh beats from amazing DJs.
Star Island
Have you ever been in a 30,000 sq ft home before? Well, I had not prior to our trip to Miami. We were fortunate enough to have been invited to an outdoor dinner at a 30,000 sq ft palatial estate on Star Island in Miami Beach. When we arrived at the destination we were greeted by a waitress holding a silver tray full of champagne flutes and a red carpet. Yes, a red carpet.
The property itself was gorgeous. Their exclusive property had endless unobstructed views that overlooked downtown Miami, Palm Island, and Miami Harbor. There were open verandas that faced the ocean and lushly landscaped grounds that had tropical foliage and palms. There was a resort style pool, outdoor bar, private dock, and amazing sunset views that could be seen from every vantage point.
The Everglades
There is something very exhilarating about exploring the Everglades on an airboat, wind in your face, sun on your skin, stopping just feet from an alligator. We saw various wildlife while on our airboat tour. From frogs, turtles, and fish to snakes, pelicans, and a bald eagle. At the very end of our “grass river” journey we were even able to hold a baby alligator!
