Denver, Colorado is beautiful, scenic, and sunny. There is something about Denver that makes you want to be outside all the time. Breathtaking views are guaranteed, everywhere you look, the Rocky Mountains are in the background.
Thank you Mother Nature
Red Rocks Amphitheater is located just about 20 minutes outside of Denver. It has been referred to as one of the best amphitheaters in the US. The open- air amphitheater itself has perfect views from every direction, naturally occurring acoustics, and is surrounded by hundreds of acres of land that is home to many animals and plants.
We attended a jazz concert by Joe Bonamassa in September. When the concert started the warm summer air filled the Colorado afternoon skies. As the band played on and the sun set, the crisp, cool breeze cooled our skin and the lights of Denver started to turn on one by one, twinkling in the dark black sky along with all the stars. We were surrounded by massive red rocks and trees and wildlife in the middle of nowhere, listening to music, we were one with nature.
